About Nasheba Barzey

     Hi, I'm Nasheba. I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Washington. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. With a compassionate approach, I focus on providing a safe space for healing and growth.

In my work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups of different cultures, relationship problems which includes unhealthy relational patterns, domestic violence issues, sexual abuse/assault, immigration issues, life stage challenges, and other issues that negatively impact mental health are explored. These include trauma and PTSD, addiction, acculturation, and adjustment issues. Coping and emotion regulation strategies are explored.

     I am also dedicated to providing professional consulting, coaching, and training services to help individuals, attorneys, other law professionals, businesses, and organizations gain the knowledge and understanding needed to respond to issues surrounding domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and immigration. 

     I obtained my Juris Doctor degree from University of Massachusetts School of Law, my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Northwestern University, and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Diversity & Justice from Western Washington University (Fairhaven College). I have taught courses such as Women, Crime and the Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, and Advanced Topic in Law: Domestic Violence at University of Massachusetts and Fairhaven College (WWU).
